10:30 am - Panel Discussion: "Slow down, you move too fast" with Rebecca LeHeup-Bucknell of Slow Food the County; Bob Garthson, President, Ecological Farmers of Ontario, Central Region; Linda Gregg, Villa St. Joseph Retreat community garden (Masters of Divinity working on doctorate in Ecology); Tannice Goddard, Yoga instructor, "Bringing awareness through Yoga". Where are we going? How fast to do we want to get there? This will be a group discussion among participants with questions from the audience.
12:00 - 1:00 pm - Shapenote Singing with Elizabeth Barlow. You are invited to join in this group singing experience based on this traditional form as seen in the movie "Cold Mounatin". No experience necessary!
1:30 pm - Panel Discussion: "The importance of community in a time of change" with Bridget Campion, Ethics Professor, Trent University; Grant Elliot, (environmental) science teacher and Canadian participant in the NASA Phoenix Mars mission; Pat Hall, natural health consultant; Janet Laughton, "Awakening the Dreamer", Pachamama Alliance movement. The climate is changing. We're running out of cheap oil. At the same time we continue to grow, grow, grow! We are facing an uncertain future, and the best way to do it is by working together. Another group discussion with questions from the audience.
3:00 - 4:00 pm - Closing concert: Celtic-inspired music from multi-instrumentalists Saskia Tomkins and Steafan Hannigan! You won't want to miss this special appearance by two outstanding British musicians!
